Janesville Fire Department

Janesville, Wisconsin is located in south central Wisconsin with a population of roughly 75,000 city and rural residents. Janesville Fire Department provides both fire and paramedic level services out of five fire stations. Janesville Fire personnel also make up Rock County's only Level B Hazardous Material Team. In addition, fire fighters are trained in other specialities such as Still and Swift Water Rescue, Dive Rescue, Technical Rescue, and Extrication.

Response area includes the City of Janesville and surrounding rural townships of Harmony, Janesville, LaPrarie, and Rock. Janesville Fire Department has over 90 personnel who are proud members of IAFF Local 580.
